Hi,

are there any updates on regulations to bring your own motorcycle ( Honda dream my favourite vehicle) from thailand to Myanmar for a 2-3 weeks trip?

Sorry no new news - you still need to buy a package & be guaranteed by a local Myanmar tour operator.

How'd you go with your Laos trip last year

any good / what border did you cross at?

Hi All,

Many of you probably know Viethorse.

He recently went over to Burma with his mates from Vietnam and crossed through Cambodia and Thailand.

The agent he used is below..

Burma Senses Travel and Tours

[email protected]

Hotline: +84-977-343-986

[email protected]

Tel: +84-4-6273-2655

http://burmasenses.com

He said this was the cheapest of the agents he looked at and very happy with everything.

If you want prices.. Suggest you contact and get the information.
As each group no doubt will be different.

Any thing useful. Please share here.

Cheers

Brian

If riding something like a wave, you'll save yourself a load of money if you just come here and buy a Chinese knockoff at the secondhand market in Mandalay. Ride it to death and flog it off when you leave. Buying it won't set you back more than about $300. Quick sell when you leave will probably get you about $150. You lose $150, tops. A far sight less than just what the permit to bring yours in would cost you.

If you want to post some images of shops - bikes for sale or rent with prices you are welcome.
