Breath Taking - The Blue Temple

A new attraction the blue temple is still a work in progress; but it is already on the Thai tourist trail
Wat Rong Suea Ten is the name & it is on the north side of the Kok River in Chiang Rai.
It is supposedly the work of a student of Chalermchai Kositpipat, who built the famous white Temple Wat Rong Khun.
How to get there.
From Chiang Rai city head north, cross the Kok river either by the main highway & R1, or take the new bridge in the centre of town by the police station.
If you take the main highway & R1 turn left at the first set of traffic lights, go down 3 or 4 sois & turn left. It is located between the 3rd soi (5) & the 4th soi on the left.
If you take the town bridge by the police station, cross the Kok River & at the first set of traffic lights, turn right, then turn right into 3rd soi on the right from the traffic lights. You will see a small blue sign Wat Rong Suea Ten on the corner of the soi.

If you're going try to avoid the long weekends & public holidays.
And with this new attraction I have to say that Chiang Rai is the # 1 province in the North for attractions.
