the velcro strap holding on the seat cover has slipped & jammed in the locking mechanism. Silly me jaming the seat on down hard.

I've done the same thing with my soft panniers which also have a velcro strap underneath the pillion seat. Luckily I figured it out myself. No way a bike shop in Australia would solve it for free, and the hourly rate significantly more than Thailand.

Where did you get the mesh cover for the Vstom? I've been looking for one for a CB650F, but no one in CNX seams to have..
Got one on the CRF and really like it.

No doubt the Australian fisheries and wildlife department would be unimpressed with one of the delicacies on this Rayong restaurants menu.

Photo taken at Nong, Laos.
This guy is certainly putting a lot faith in that black strap. Theres got to be at least 120 litres sitting on the back of the bike.

The true adventure riders of Laos.

These two young ladies had no trouble at all navigating the slippery rocks in the middle on the river, or dodging the potholes as they went ripping past at speed with there cargo.

Trundling around the trails Saturday afternoon at the back of pattaya was made more interesting by the ruts created after recent heavy rains,

Allan gives his bike a little poke to get the front end up and over the rut.. Then it turns in to a 3 metre wheelie and barely hanging on, to end up whiskey throttle.

Of course, Leif being a great mate has an immediate sympathy crash to show support for Allan .

Short clip with nice slow motion and zoom in

Cheers

From
Mae Hong Son - Kayan - Long Neck Year

Riding out from the long neck year in the dark & rain - not something that planned - the rain that is.
Literally within touching distance of safety & the asphalt & the bike slides out a metre from the black hard top

It's dark, wet, no phone signal & deserted.
My shoes are the size of door mats with clods of earth stuck to them .
I cant pick the bike up alone as it keeps sliding out from me on the clay.
So what to do - wait in the dark & wet with no shelter or rain gear for the next person to rock up.
45 minutes later a guy in a pickup appears& e lift the bike up & move it a metre to the asphalt.
No damage done to the bike or me.
Its a slow ride back into MHS in the foggy wet, then 2 kms from MHS city the rain stops. The town is dry, but not me.
Life goes on. keep riding & trying to stay upright.

While riding around Kancchanaburi recently.. We see this rather nice, funky looking coffee shop..
Nice bright colours and seating out the front....

So we pull up in to the drive way.. Park the bikes.
Get off... Three gentlemen come over and I ask for coffee..

Yes, please come in. We take off our boots as the locals had removed their shoes.

Sit down.. I order an Iced Latte... No we don't have..
Then another drink.. No we don't have... Only 3 in 1...
You don't have any other coffee?
No... This is our house ... Not a coffee shop... But we would like to have coffee with you..

Too funny.. everyone laughing.. Nice people.
So we had our 3 in 1 and cold water.. Then taken on a tour of the property..

When we said our goodbyes at the end.. They said, Next time we come.. They will have iced Latte.. LOL
