    The Itinerary

09:30 - The Ride start on Highway 34 towards Chunburi and then turns north-east at road no 4 and continues until we turn right at Road 359.

12:00 - Continue on Road 359 and arrive at the first pit-stop. Lunch has been arranged at a nice spot with a beautiful nature scene and plenty of space to park the bikes.

13:00 - The Ride continue at Road 359 to Road 317, where we turn left and then cover the short distance to Highway 33, where we turn right towards the border at Poi Pet. We will stop in Thailand before the border and fuel up.

14:00 - Arrive at the Poi Pet Border. The Royal Danish Embassy representatives will coordinate all visa requirements and will bring us through Boarder Controls and into Cambodia.

15:30 - The Ride continue on Highway 5 in Cambodia. Remember to shift to the right side of the road, as this is the driving lane in Cambodia. We will ride slowly through Cambodia as we must shift lanes and there are many small bikes that do not follow common traffic rules.

17:30 - Arrive to Battambang City and drive up to the Khemrabattambang 1 Hotel. We will stop at the Total Gas Station just before the hotel and top up in preparation for the next day's ride.

19:30 - BBQ at the pool side with live band. Time to relax, enjoy and have fun with your fellow riders.

Thursday, November 10 (Cambodian Water Festival)

    07:00 - 09:00 - Breakfast

09:30 - The Ride continues toward Phnom Penh (approximately 300 km). We will have one fuel stop on the way.

12:00 - Lunch / drinks after approximately 150 km on Highway 5 in a city selected that day.

13:30 - The Ride continue towards Phnom Penh. At approximately 20-25 km from Phnom Penh, we must slow down due to increased traffic.

16:00 - Arrive in Phnom Penh.

19:00 - BBQ party at Hotel Cambodiana with view of the majestic Mekong River and the activities of the Cambodian Water Festival.

    Friday November 11

11:00 - Donation of the Go4 Charity Ride fund raising to the local representatives of Helmets for Kids in Phnom Penh.

The rest of the day can be spend exploring Phnom Penh and the Mekong River.

Ensure you obtain all your documents from the Royal Danish Embassy representative.

    Saturday November 12

10:00 - For those returning to Bangkok with the group, the Ride departs on Highway 4 towards Sihanuikville. After 145 km we turn right at Road 48 (caution: it is difficult to see the sign) through the mountains towards the Cambodian / Thai border. This is a very nice road, although be preared that some areas require speeds of only 60-80 km/h.

Good to see organised rides into Cambodia. The web page says minimum donation is 10k Baht and to budget 30k Baht for expenses (petrol, hotels). Not exactly cheap. Could buy a few kids helmets for that , cheap helmets in Vietnam sell for about US$3 each. (440 helmets = $1,320 = approx 40k Baht).

Wishing good riding and safe trip for all the participants.
