Chiang Mai ToyRide was happy to help with the funding. It was Alan's organizing and his generous contributors who brought it all together. A great job by all who attended or helped in many ways. Thanks to all. You made very many children and their caregivers happy indeed. Thanks also to the Thai Border Patrol Police for their efforts and warm welcome.

quick update from yesterday
: we had a drive up to mae na chon yesterday to see how everything was going, it was great to see the dormitory in full use with all the beds and bedding and new clothes storage, they were short of mosquito nets so we went and bought some more plus a few clothes baskets too!! i cant see how to load a few photos onto here but i will post onto my fb page and also the thai bike tours page too. They have had some really bad storms over the last week and it was really muddy and the kids were really filthy, all the new shoes and welly boots had been distributed, i think they are in real need for more concrete or gravel type ground covering and also the classrooms could do with some pvc floor covering that is easy to clean as the library is the cleanest room by far. the new book shelves and the other storage units were all fully utilised too, more required for sure, the head said that they had a type of sports event over the weekend using the new equipment that went down well too, we are nw looking at renovating the toilet/shower block and the hand/teeth washing area! will keep everyone updated! thanks again so much, photos will follow soon, tonight maybe!!!
