Mussen. Any bike filter that has an M20 x 1.5 thread. Canister style with at least 17 psi bypass. I will explain.
When i brought my Suzuki VX800 a muppet Thai mechanic was being lazy so rather than order the correct Suzuki oil filter for my bike he went and got a MAZDA one. Fitted it and the bike runs hot (overheat light comes on). I have flushed the rad and it still overheats. I brought a K&N oil filter but when we tried fitting it, no good the thread has been shagged. But another Mazda one went on ok.
The seller tells me no problem before. so i am thinking that the Mazda car filter just is not flowing enough oil. If you can be of help it would be FANTASTIC,
regards Allan

Allan, a Mazda filter should flow plenty of oil. Possibly it is restricting flow because of some other reason...maybe the seal is the wrong size and blocking the oil ports? You should have the fitting tube in the sump repaired or replaced and fit the correct filter. Oil starvation will kill your engine quickly!

I get new stock regularly, and they are cheaper than the K&N and just as good. PM me if you're after a certain filter and I can look at ordering it in for you. If others are after the HF163 and HF164 PM me and I might try to get them earlier.

G'day Marco, might try to get them in a bit earlier if there are a few interested. I was looking at the getting the Bimmer filters in the new Year but it could be mid December.

Cheers.
