KTM from Malaysia

Hi all ,

down in Penang for a quick trip and spoted the KTM agent here ,

some very nice machinery!!

has anyone any experience with keeping a Malay registered bike in Thailand ??

what would be the issues and would I have to take it to Loas or Cambodia every 3 months ?? to keep the customs guys happy ??

i would think you would have to vacate the country you entered as with a cambodian bike brought in ,depending on your visa its gonna be 3 months tops i reckon, regards, mike

mucho problemo longterm, a local expat in pattaya had a malaysian registered BMW , after 6 months the thais gave him so much crap he had to sell it in Malaysia.
