There's a cycle cross & enduro on in Mae Hong Son for Mae Hong Son province riders at the Mae Sakut track on 16th August.
They are expecting 100+ riders from all around the province.
It should be a fun event to watch.

Contact Mac at Pana Huts in Mae Hong Son
Tel: 053614331.
Email: spangbunshu@yahoo.com

www.panahuts.com
(currently out of order)

or for Thai info, contact Aek at Jonkgum guesthouse in Mae Hong Son
http://www.jongkhamguesthouse.com/

Note too that there is a serious group of trail riders in Mae Hong Son operating as the Mae Hong Son Enduro riders. They ride regularly & know hundreds of kms of single track along the rugged Thai / Burma border.
If you think you're good enough & like this sort of stuff contact Aussie Mac (ex speedway) M-X rider at Pana Huts in MHS, or for Thai see Aek at Jongkham guesthouse. World class trails & riders - you won't be disappointed & will want to hang out in MHS longer with these guys to ride the wild remote stuff where 4WS cannot go.

Later this year there is also a round of the North Thai enduro championships in MHS. If you want to compete, contact Mac at Pana Huts for him to arrange you a licence for the event. Serious riders join in & give it a go.

Always a good time at these events,
look out for a 2 day race in chiang dao next month as part of the north thailand enduro championships. just turn up on the day and pay the organisers for a 1 event license( 200baht) or a year long license(400baht).

should be a great event as the scenery around chiang dao is stunning..

the event was a great day, good rain the night before, fine on the day.
and as you can guess a few boys visited the local hospital
the young fella on the 110 kwaka races in the open class MX and was doing well till he stacked, his jumps were as big as any and he is hard to keep up with in the sticks
see you at chaing doa event?

hi david
the Mae Hong Son round of the northern Enduro is on the 18-19 oct .just picked up me klx and still running in 1000km service on mon, and a few more kms before the race, miss the yzf but the electric leg and lights are handy. this year should be a little drier than last . hope they dont have a huge night moto like at Chiang Dao as no-one was impressed riding late at night, and they had a bunch of tyres laying down for a trials section with a mud pit for a wash, can't wait to get dirty.
