Could anyone confirm that the 105 between Mae Sot and Mae Sariang is asphalted all the way and suitable for a large road bike. Be grateful for your knowledge on this one.
    Cheers - Barry

    Hi Barry

I would not worry about it. I have not been on the road for the past year, but then there were only 2 very short sections that were not paved. The longest section was only 100 meters long.

If you are going from Mae Sot to Mae Sarieng, both sections will be uphill for you.

I ride a TDM, but I do know a rider who went through on a Valkyrie without any trouble.

Many thanks for the quick reply. Shall look forward to doing the run later this week!

    All the best, Barry.

    Hi Barry

Could you post an update on the road conditions after you go thru?

    Thanks
