Some more beers and whiskey seemed to break the ice though---

By the end of the night Spud seemed to quite enjoy being Bakerboy's bitch :mrgreen:

I think you missed something in the photo of David and Slash.....it would appear to be a " gas emission " competition......you can see there is a coupla grand swinging on it ???!!! Check out the glaze in Slashes eyes..thats gotta be from lasagna and pizza overdose.

It was a great 2 nights in Nan thats for sure.

If its on again next year, make sure you dont miss it, it was a hoot.

The Thais certainly know how the throw a party.

Getting up on Sunday morning was tough after a late night at the Nan Bike Festival and then more partying at the Veerachon club- wow that place was pumping!
An excellent breakfast at HOT BREAD did help take the edge off though :wink:

David's venerable Africa Twin in front of HOT BREAD- the best breakfast place in Nan, hands down!

Finally we hit the road back to Bangkok at 10:30 and we made excellent time-

Arrived home just after 5pm. 722km in less than 7 hours- we were FLYING! :mrgreen:

Just gas and go and an occasional stop for a smoke and a drink. Spud looks like he's about ready to take a nap on the sidewalk :wink:

Great ride- can't wait for the next one!

Tony, it's a Ninja 650R not a KLX 250 :mrgreen: !!! You guys sure enjoyed that one :wink: !! I'm sure Tony & Gerhard again tested the material their footpegs are made of. :wink: Next year I'm in. Anyone fancy another trip to Nan somewhere in Feb or early March ?? Need to use up all my annual leaves before the current job :evil: ends . Cheers, FR
