    THE MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL BIKE WEEK
    8 - 9 September, 2007

    The Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, Langkawi Pirate Bikers Club, Kedah Bikers Clubs and The Hatyai Bikers Club, will jointly organize the “RIDE FOR PEACE” convoy for Bikers from Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore to show support and desire for Regional Peace, Cooperation & Goodwill to be held in conjunction with the “MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL BIKE WEEK” (8 – 9th September, 2007).

    The Malaysia International Bike Week 2007 is also to be held in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia Year 2007 and the 50 Years Anniversary of Malaysia-Thailand Diplomatic Relationship.

    Riders From Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia will congregate at Bukit Kayu Hitam (Thai-Malaysian Border Post) at 9 am on the 8th September, 2007 and commence the festival with a “RIDE FOR PEACE” convoy from Bukit Kayu Hitam to Merbok, Kedah.

    The Malaysia International Bike Week 2007, is jointly organized by the Tourism Malaysia and Langkawi Pirate Bikers’ Club.

    BIKE WEEK GENERAL INFORMATION

    Malaysia International Bike Week- 2007 will include visits to places of interest as well as a variety of activities to promote tourism, good relations between the participants and to also provide entertainment, including cultural shows, music, live bands, food, and sales of motorbike products, accessories and clothing.

    With respect thereto, we call on all Harley Davidson Bikers, Super Bikers, Chopper Bikers, Touring Bikers, Veteran and Vintage Bike and Scooter Owners from Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore to participate in this International event and to do their part to show the world their support and desire for Regional Peace, Goodwill and Cooperation.

    ITINERARY

    MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL BIKE WEEK
    8 - 9th September 2007

    7th September 2007

    16:00 am All Bikers assemble at Dannok, Thailand for registration to the "Malaysia Bike week, Immigration and Custom Clearance.

    19:00 pm All Bikers Welcome to the "Dannok Bikers Party" ( Live Band ).

    Day 1 : 8th September 2007

    08:00 am All Bikers assemble at "Duty Free Shopping Complex" at Bukit Kayu Hitam - Dannok Border for Registration to "Malaysia International Bike week- 2007".

    08:30 am "SAFE CONVOY RIDING" Briefing by Road Captain to All Bikers.

    09.00 am “Ride For Peace” Convoy from Bukit Kayu Hitam "Duty Free Shopping Complex" to Merbok Kedah, Malaysia.

    11:00 am Picnic ( Lunch ) at Merbok Historical Site.

    11:30 am Bike Show at Merbok Historical Park

    12:00 Noon Welcome Speech

    13:00 pm Bikers convoy to Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Resort for Welcoming Reception.

    15:00 pm Bikers Check-in to Hotels in Sungai Petani, Kedah

    17:00 pm Marshalls will lead all Bikers to Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Resort for the - " BIKERS POOL PARTY" at the "Carnivall - Water Theme Park". http://thecarnivall.com.my/

    18:00 pm Bike Show contest started:- (Contest by categories: - Best Harley Bike, Best Chopper Bike, Best Super Bike, Best Super Touring, Most Innovative Bike, Best Antique Bike, Best Classic Bike & etc).

    19:30 pm Welcome reception for all Bikers.

    19:45 pm Arrival of V VIP’s and guest.

    20:00 pm BBQ Dinner.

    20:45 pm Launching of “Malaysia International Bike Week 2007” by Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Minister of Tourism Malaysia.

    21:00 pm Announcement and prize giving ceremony for the The Bike Contest Winners of the “Malaysia International Bike Week 2007” by categories and "Special Lucky Draw"

    21:30 pm Live Band "Bike Week Grand Finale Concert" and Shows.

    14.00 pm Visit to Museum Padi, Alor Star, Kedah

    16:00 pm Thai Bikers depart to Bukit Kayu Hitam – Danok, Thailand for CIQ clearance.

    17:00 pm Checkpoint at Bukit Kayu Hitam for Immigration and Customs clearance.
