Back in September 2013 in conjunction with BMW Council International meeting in Slovenia me, wifey and 2 Malaysian friends went for mini tour of Europe covering about 12 countries. BMW AG kindly supplied free of charge 3 motorrads for us: R1200RT, K1600GT and R1200R.

At BMW Welt Munich, day before departure to Austria
Pictured from left, BMW International Council delegates:

Wong KK - Asia BMW Council President and International BMW Car and Motorcycle driving / riding instructor
and Minesh Doshi, president of BMW Motorrad Club Malaysia.

I got R1200RT, first time ever riding this model and oh boy....I loved it. Wife fell in love with machina instantly.... :p
    Only 1900km on the clock.

Refueling before departure....beer, sausages and giant pretzels. Ich liebe Deutschland

If not for this little sign wouldn't even know it was Austria. Love open borders of western Europe

We've decided to stay off the major highways and explore rural roads.

In many European countries you will see number of establishments displaying sign "Welcome Bikers". This was one of them and we stopped for coffee break

Busy toll gate. Lots of cars, cyclists and especially motorcyclists. There was some kind of classic cars event too.

About to pass the toll gate and go crazy :p all those curves, sweepers and hairpins....those of you who rode with me know what I mean

RT cuts corners effortlessly, quite impressed with this model. Full load, passenger and 59 liter luggage bags....no problem.

    Breathtaking scenery

Try a different browser. Chrome or Firefox.
But it does seem as if of late there are browser issues displaying images.
