Thailand Laos Border Crossing Tha Kek

Hello . Has enyone crossed the border resently from Thailand Nakhon Phanom in to Laos at Tha Kek ?? Any hassel i should now of.. Have the green book in my name and aslo transleted into English..

Also wonder , Is the crossing on the friendship brigde at Mukdahan over to Savannakhet , Is it still a hassel ? Or wich one is the best crossing ??? Coming from Surin Thailand
