The bridge over the Mekong just upstream from Pak Beng is finally complete & ready for general use, although not officially open.

This is the exact spot where the new bridge is located back in 2008.

I let the young fella balance the bike as current was a little strong that day.

Once I got over to the Pak Beng side, it was a sandy ride up the river bank.
