Nghe An (VNA) - A border market was inaugurated in Din Dam village in the Lao province of Xiangkhouang on June 14 by the trade services of Xiangkhouang and Viet Nam's central Nghe An province.
Din Dam market, covering 400 sq.m, was built at a cost of 740 million VND granted by people in Nghe An province to their Lao neighbours. It was constructed by the Viet Nam-Laos Economic Cooperation Company.
The market is expected to help promote trade in border districts and boost cross-border trade and the border economies in the two countries.-
