The Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting is coming to Chiang Mai!
We have the best motorcycling roads and weather for January riding, as well as the best traveller motorcycling community. Here is our chance to meet and welcome other riders from around the globe and introduce them to our golden part of the world.
The GT Rider community has been asked to host this 1st Southeast Asia event. Below is the News Release and Working Program. Some of us have already stepped-up to help, but we can always use some more.
If you had volunteered for the cancelled program in Kanchanaburi to do a presentation or seminar, or would like to do one, write globalmotorcycleadventures@yahoo.com.
If you merely want to attend, register through the www.horizonsunlimited.com/meetings/Thailand2007.php site. Registration is limited so get it done early. Lets show Chiang Mai (and the world) our motorcycle travelling community!
The Chiang Mai HU Travel Meeting Director-Digital Media Management, Barry BBQ, will be on the scene throughout the event recording it for history (and an event DVD).
There is a plan for a Group Photo, Saturday Jan 13, possibly at the Thapae Gate (walking street market depending). Whether you’re going for the "Secret Day Ride" or just attending the HU Meeting, roll-in and get in the show.
For those of you with wild travel stories, polish them up for the Campfire Tales session Saturday night.
Ongoing throughout the Horizons Travellers Meeting this year is planning for the 2008 event. We’ve offered to help Horizons Unlimited at this late date because we are all a part of the global riding community dedicated to fun, adventure and the professional pursuit of positive imaging in the motorcycling world.
If you want to contribute to those ends, step up and show us why we are the fun group. And for those of you who already have, thank you in advance.
