Updated Sept 2009
1. JOE'S BIKE TEAM.
Big bike service.
26/1 Soi 2 Chang Moi Rd. Tel: +66053251186
Probably the most reliable shop for big bike service in Chiang Mai. Run by German Joe.
OTHER BIKE SHOPS WITH PARTS & ACCESSORIES.
Limited accessories - tyres / brake pads / helmets / jackets / boots / levers / cables / chain & sprockets. Because of the small big bike market in Chiang Mai / North Thailand, none of the shops carry a big range of parts and accessories. If you want something they can usually get it fairly quickly form either Bangkok or Singapore.
2. SAMOTO

Sa also has a small range of accessories - boots / helmets / jackets / brake pads. Well worth checking out!
3. G3 BIKE SHOP

Above: G3 not easy to find with a shop front like that & not exciting from the outside, but inside it is ok.

6. FAST CORNER.
1st Floor Pantip Plaza. 152/1 Changklarn rd. Tel: 053 288088-9. www.fastcorner.co.th. Great for deals on Arai helmets - where I get mine from. If you're coming from Oz or Europe the helmet prices here are relatively cheap. My Doohan replica helmet only cost 17,500 baht. Check em out. Order from Bkk & they will deliver to the Cnx shop.
7. CHAROENSILP. Leather Boots.
63/6 Kaew Nawarat Rd. Tel 053-306194. Mobile: 0866726865.

8. TEE GAN BOH
Upholsterer for seat repairs, plus repacking them nice & comfy for your bottom.

Get your 100 baht Veloil chain lube here!
15. LEATHER SHOP
Dawood Leather Craft
44 Sri Dornchai Road.
Chiang Mai.
Tel: 0818823709 & 0819938682.
Email: <dawoodic>
A smart new shop with belts, vests, bags, saddle bags & jackets.
Mainly geared towards the custom / cruiser / Harley set, but well worth checking out.
The jacket pictured above quoted cost 9,000 baht.
But I note that hes got the real thing - a heavy duty leather sewing machine - so my guess is that he should be able to repair / stitch up anything. If you need some leather repairs then this guy should be able to do it.

A small shop excellent for boot, zip & leather bag repairs.
Not easy to find, outside the shop they sell noodles & magazines, but the repair guy sits inside his dark little shop fixing shoes / boots / bags / zips.
I've been using him for years & can recommend him highly.
