Day 1
left Chiang Mai By car 09:41
Placing Dtracker in a back of a pick up(i cant take it across the border caus i'm still too young :( )
Arrived at chiang khong about 13.00

after Disembarking my dtracker from a pick up truck!!
Riding day!(Longest and toughest ride ever in my life)
8.12 am
Bonour ,a guy from French.He said that he walked and hitch hiking from french all the way to Luang nam Tha

Nice job there Blister! :D I think you can now say that you are truly one of the GT-Riders. You have been to places that many people will never see because they never try.

Congratulations on a Blisteringly good road report & tremendous pix!

I'd be interested to know who exactly were the problem regarding taking a bike over when under 18: Thai or Laos customs?
Only that I am going to be taking the same route with my 17 year old son [has Thai M/C license] in August.

Ride safe and keep us updated - sterling stuff!

"She"Who's a pillion is a friend of mine in Vang Vieng i didn't take her all the way from Chiang Mai. :oops:
