A hot 'n smoky inspection trip around the top end, primarily to get some photos of the conditions.

In Thoed Thai it was the annual Thoed Thai Women's group meeting. Rim Taan John's wife is the leader of the group & John is naturally an adviser

Its a bit hazy up there David, completely the opposite to here in Trat but then again I havent seen any fires around here

Was hazy, hot & horrible on way home from ChiangKhong on Sunday David. At one stage, there was ash falling like snow flakes all over us. Wont stop us being there next Sunday though!

I agree with you there alright. By the I stopped several times to take photos by the Mekong with my kit on I was well & truly toasted & by the time I get home exhausted.
Good to see you guys at the Easy Bar & Restaurant in Chiang Khong having your regular Sunday "brunch."
