I've just ordered a DID chain, stressing that I want the real thing, not a copy. Now, can anybody give me pointers on how to tell them apart? Copying a carton can't be that hard... _________________ http://beddhist.googlepages.com |

Simple - if after say, 3000km it's dragging on the ground like a whore's drawers, then it's a copy.....
Seriously, I haven't heard of "copy" chains. Cheap chains, copy watches and phones e.t.c but no copy chains. You could check that there are O rings in it, that the sideplates and rollers look substantial but in reality, I'd say only time will tell.
