Note: All three of the above hotels/guesthouses are very short walking distance to HU Media Center/Goodwill Motorcycle Shop, Amora Tapae Hotel, Art Café, “Chill and Swill” Oasis’s on The Moat, as well as Internet shops, Starbucks, and numerous other restaurants and tourist shops. They are also very popular with motorcycle travelers attending Chiang Mai Bike Week and have off-street motorcycle parking. Chiang Mai is experiencing a extremely high influx of tourists this year because of it’s world wide designation as the #1 tourist destination, so make hotel/guesthouse reservations early.

<b>Art Cafe </b>says, "Come on in, save 10%."
If you're wearing your HU Jan. 12-14 T-shirt and at Art Cafe, Chuck says, "<b>10% <b>off</b> </b> <b>breakfast</b> <b></b>during the HU Travelers Meeting." Art Cafe is known for having the best breakfasts in town. Chuck Hecht, a bike traveler and chief (check out his V-Max) is a great host and source of information. |

<b>Media Notes:</b>
Bangkok Post had a note on the meeting, and the Group Photo Saturday morning will end up in at least one motorcycle magazine (note new location on Official Agenda to Wat Chomphu).
A media show and artwork of the meeting is in the works, produced by BBQ Productions, for the Internet. Rolling footage will be shot during the Group Ride departing from the Wat Chomphu. |
