Hi,
I'm planing a trip through Cambodia, Laos and Thailand and currently Iam meditating (ok, more like drinking and thinking) about what I should bring along in terms of spare parts and tools. Not that I'm a mechanic (Iam anything but) but minor stuff I would be able to do myselft, if I don't find somebody to do it.

Also I prefer to travel very lightly (one bagpack for clothes, one beltpack for the cam and stuff like that, no more)

So far I've got on my list:

lever for the clutch or brake

Cable for the clutch

Spare Tube

Any more suggestions?

Take a look at

Not everyone will agree with all this stuff, but it will give you something to think about.

Meanwhile, don’t spend too much time drinking & thinking, real motivation & action is what you need!

Bo'os, Zen and the art of not crashing could be something to contimplate, the navel is so passe, an booze makes you flacid.
book the airfare, and do it, you'll love the vibe.
