I'm trying to order Thailand maps from gadget trend.
They are asking for the UNit ID of Garmin 76Cx....????
I've lookied thru manual and no joy...any help....please

Look under your units power connector/battery cover. There is a number located there that I believe MAY be what they want. Not 100% positive though.

Ok, with GPS switched on, go into 'main menu'
select- setup, press enter
select-system, press enter
press menu
scroll down-'software version' , press enter.
da da...Unit ID should be displayed at the bottom.
Note: most garmins can be updated with latest version software.

I bought the latest Thailand Maps from Bestbuys4us.com

They were delivered by FEdex. excellent service,best price.

I had the same problem, I was cursing the Trouble and Strife for throwing out the box, which I thought might have had the number on it... then I found the box, and it wasn't there...

Looked through the settings, and found it...

I was told its the ESRI v8 map..

I know of 3 revisions to that so possibly its not the latest here.. Also here you get 1 year free updates, which you wouldnt get there.

However the maps are all downloadable anyway.

Where was that sold then ??

Garmin site lists 120 and that was the cheapest legit source I knew of.
