as part of a new intiative to become better looking people i hereby devise this post inviting members to post the roughest, ugliest photos of themselves or riding buddies. hopefully this will spur us all on in the never ending quest to become more handsome riders.
hopefully at the end of the post we will have a ugliest " winner ", and with it the credos of being the rankest man in S.E.asia.
here are my applicants
here found lurking in the backroads of doi ang khang, ( no its not on the set of the sequel to " deliverance" ) is " trail boss " mark rossi or MR. AUGUST as he is known as by the ladies down on loi kroh.
what a hunk,
arunothai now reporting severe shortage of hair gel stocks

is this what this website has come to? i take offense of this manipulated picture of The Trail Boss.
and therefore nominate the hideous Happy Feet for Mr August
i also believe The Trail boss portrait should be disqualified for picture tampering.
For my next nomination may i introduce Mr Fabulous February
Mr July

Geez, digging into the the low blood sugar archives should be illegal foul play. Not the pinnacle of my modeling career I must say.
However I guess Mr. Fabulous February after swilling a bottle of whiskey and dancing the night away in Phayao with ladyboys and ending up passed out against outside his hotel room dooor in the hallway deserves a mention as a portrait of our beloved studmuffin.
or looking a little "Toto, we're not in kansas any more"
Dashing i say
I know we must have others on the board with nominations existing in their deep and darkest Photobucket and Smugmug accounts. Lay 'em out gents as the ladies are clamouring for our mugs with jelly knees and baited breath. _________________ Cheers all.

Seen lurking in the corner of our Chiang Rai hotel room last night,
holding an electronic implement
Does it not bare a remarkable likeness of ....

Here's one of me recovering from highsiding my old Raid into a fence and looking somewhat knackered next to the ever-suave Big'n Tall.
Cheers,
Pikey. _________________ "Belligerent, honest, sarcastic and rides like an arse? Hmmm, that'll be me then! "

Pikey - remember that day well. I figured you scored a 9.5 on that crash into the fence.
Good on you for joining in on the fray.
So who else on theboard dares throw their hat in the ring with a damning pic of friends or themselves????? _________________ Cheers all.

Yep, rough as guts. I think I was on the verge of puking up after the effort of extracting both myself and the Yammie from the aforementioned fence. My health was only restored after a drink of water and a recuperative smoko!
Looking back at my photo collection, those shenanigans occurred in September 2006 so I guess I take the spot for that month.
Cheers,
Pikey. _________________ "Belligerent, honest, sarcastic and rides like an arse? Hmmm, that'll be me then! "

Hi Happy Honky Lucky Chiang Mai residents,
Here is my contribution. Picture taken in February 2005. Lao, west of Muang Sing on the way to Xiangkhèng.
I have tried to borrow hair gel to these guys. Unfortunately there were a shortage that day. They explained that's why they had to keep their cap on.

I'd have to nominate Cambobum in absent mode as he's out of the region and not on the board much. The photo is classic Don mode in the jungles of Laos with scrap metal collectors. Robodon.
The second is my riding mate Nic after a really - really long day in northeast Laos. The day wasn't so bad but we were subjected to a backpacker group chatting non-stop about what backpackers discuss for half an hour and it was the most brutal part of the day.
I'll also add one of me after a pretty rough day that had me driving in the morning with only one eye open most of the morning. The pic is in the evening and for those of you that know me, it's way long ago before I shaved the golden locks.
One of my clients also rates a week but not a full month

OK, I guess I'll play too. Riding alone between Muang Sing, Laos and the Myranmar border I was invited into a small village for some Lao Kaew. I didn't know what was going on, but it was my birthday so why not (November).
Jim, great photo of Don. I have some of him also, I call him the "Road Warrior", but yours is better ! _________________ Dave Early

I love it!!!! Gents thanks for stepping up and posting the mugs. Some glorious hillbilly mugs out there for the lasses to ogle over. Pee looking almost suave there mate, good one. When in the villages raw eggs whites do great duty as hair gel....don't ask me how I know, though not sure even that would help that glorious pose
Jimoi jumps into the frey with three classics. showing its ok to throw your mates under the bus. Can't wait to meet you Jim when over next in october to hopefully gather some more nomination shots. Your mate Nic looking great with the backpacker drudgery stare.
Silverhawk - straight off the cover of Gentlemans Quarterly, complete with boozed induced sageness and wisdom. Looks like he's about to mutter a profound statement to be endured by the locals.
Great stuff men and who else wants to join in on the glory....or throw someone under the bus?? Step right up. _________________ Cheers all.
