Here's the name of a hotel (3 star) that I use now for a longer period already with reasonable prices, quiet location, clean rooms and a lot of space for parking your bikes: GREENLAKE RESORT - Chiang Mai www.greenlakechiangmai.com It is owned by the Royal Thai Army, located on the road to "700year anniversary sports stadium" and absolutely quiet. Prices range from 1.000,- to 2.000,- THB; booking trough their website or www.asiarooms.com.
In the future I will add several other Hotels in other locations; more to follow.
