Moto Rally tour in Cambodia
(Nov 1 – Nov 8, 2007)
Looking for few experienced riders.
For the last 7 years, a small group of friends is doing off road moto tour around Cambodia.
We are not young any more, but still in good shape, we like bike, but not any more the Rally of the Extreme with 12 hours a day stage.
We plan a rally tour in East & N-E Cambodia for over one week.
If you are fan of bike, have good temper, like good fun and adventure in remote area, then contact Philippe to get more details to join us on the tour. Be sure to meet a lot of mud in early November!!
Must have a reasonable good level of biking and experience with off road and have a off road bike in GOOD condition with full check up before departure and proper protective gears (boots, etc,..).
We want take our time to go through new areas, cross river, visit waterfalls, ancient temples, take pictures AND come back in full pieces without problem.
We plan to leave from Kampot on Nov. 1 by Rd # 124, then East by Rd. 107, cross the Bassac, pass Leuk Deak on the island between the 2 rivers, cross the Mekong at or South of Neak Luang. Move North-West through rural Prey Veng Prov. (Kam Chay Mear distict), cross Nat. Road # 7 and continue to Chlong, Krachie. From there, go East to Khao Nhek, then North to Balung, continue to Siem Pang and back South along the Mekong West or East rural banks, finally back to PP and Kampot avoiding concrete roads, when possible.
Maximun: 8-9 participants.
NO participation fee requested. A donation to support schooling of poor kids in Kampot appreciated.
