From ESPN website;

Quote:
Rossi: Formula 1 move unlikely
MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi has once again stated he is not eyeing a move to Formula One.

The Italian was reportedly close to switching from two wheels to four in 2006, but in the end remained in MotoGP.

Since then the nine-time World Champion has participated in a handful of tests for Ferrari, although always stating they were purely for his own entertainment and not an indication of an impending career change.

Despite this, the 30-year-old has once again be linked with a move to F1 after he recorded quick times in a recent test in the 2008 Ferrari model.

Rossi has swiftly dismissed such suggestions, commenting at the launch of the new Yamaha MotoGP bike that it was hard to envisage driving an F1.

"I had the chance to drive the Ferrari F1 car in Barcelona. It was great, I had fun and it was a very good test, with good lap times, but I think that it will be very difficult to see me driving in Formula One," he said.
