Just returned from Mae Chaem, spent two days in the rain. First day rode up to Mae ya waterfall, the road was in good shape up until the entrance to the park, after entering the park there is lots of gravel and cowshit on the road, also there is a section of road about 1k after the entrance that is washed out pretty bad on the left, other than that no problems. Leaving Doi In thanon there is some construction right before the turnoff to Mae Chaem, if there is no turnoff then there is a detour, steep and windy, would be more fun coming up, going down my brakes got stinky, but then I am an amateur. P.S. Stayed at the Pamview hotel in Mae Chaem, there was some confusion about the bill as there are lots of different people working there, my girlfriend was able to sort it out, but I would recomend getting a receipt when you pay.
