| I am moving from the states to Cambodia and want to ship my xr650l. Does anyone know the best way to do this? Obviously ship into Thailand then ride to Cambo. I might buy a bike in Thai of Cambodia, but price per product is pretty low. Any and all suggestions?? Thanks[?] |

Hi Tood,
we brought our bikes from Germany to Bangkok in December '04 and were travelling then through Cambodia and Laos. Price for aircargo was about 1.50€=1.80$. Due to high fuel prices I think it will be essentially higher now. It took one day to manage all the hurdles in BKK customs.....

Don't recommend you ship your bike to Thailand, you might never see it again.
The only 2 ways are (1) fly it in or (2) ride it in.
Take a look at
