Complications have arose and I'll will not be able to get to Miguel's Nong Hoi till 8:30.
I will provide coffee - but no one said they wanted a free breakfast. Maybe next time, breakfast burritos, or I might be inclined to make an omelet.

Ally, Kevin and myself are hoping to ride the offroad section from either Long Kord on the 1001 to Mae Khachan or perhaps take the 118 then take a left about 50 km out of town to join the track there.
Anyone else want to come? this is on tuesday 29th.
Has anyone else any experience of this route, ie any deep water to ride through at the moment or should it be an easy ride?
Anyone up for a ride from BKK to Kao Yai this week (29-30 NOV flexible)? Spend a night up there and then drive back. Solo at the moment, but itching for a ride with this great weather.

SSR Hooligans are blasting off from Bangkok tomorrow for a weeklong tour and we'd love to see any friends who would like to join us for rides, beers, etc!
Tomorrow we'll do BKK-Loei, meeting Sarge at the King's Hotel.
next day Loei to Nan, staying at the Eurngkum (sp?),
then... not quite sure! Kind of nice to go on a ride with no destination.
Chances are we might spend a night in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Song or Mae Sot, etc.

Thanks! What a beautiful day for a ride! Left Bangkok in the dark at 0515 and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise reflecting off the flooded fields in Prachinburi.
Blasted up the 21 and reached Khao Kho, Petchabun just after noon for lunch at a beautiful resort-
Then north on the 203 to Dan Sai and finally Loei where we checked in to the King Hotel, caught up with Sarge from Surin and enjoyed a fantastic meal at Chris's Restaurant.

We're all beat from a long day and going to bed early tonight. Tomorrow we continue to Nan!

I nearly had a psychic girlfriend once, but she left me before we met.
Was great to catch up with Ian and Franz, Nikster and Luke, JG and his wivesand the rest of the gang at #1 bar.
Fun blast up Doi Inthanon, though a fair bit of holiday traffic to dodge
At times it felt like we were the tourist attraction?!
Then down the back road to Mae Chaem for coffee and Khao Soi
Oh! And after lunch I got bit by a dog, but fortunately as I was wearing good gear the pooch only got to chew on CE armor and not my leg
The 1263 to Khun Yuam was busted up in spots but wasn't as rough as Ian led us to believe.
And the 108 to Mae Hong Song is still world class!
Pleasant rooms at the Rong Thai Guesthouse only 600 baht and walking distance from everything-
Checked out the night market followed by dinner and drinks at the Crossroads and a 2 hour massage to work out the kinks. Life is good!
