Triumph's pricing - no room for 2 bikes for the thai market?

Think Kawasaki Er6 and Ninja 250 cc. What's the cheapest Triumph's list price? No way Triumph can knock off THB 150,000 to bring the price below 300,000? Just wondering.

i sure would like to see Barcelona's invoice - at 213% tax, the factory must be selling below cost. But Triumph has a factory near the BKK airport. So this excempts them from the tariff, doesn't it?

    Just wondering...

They could have the same deal as Kawasaki on models built in Thailand thats the Bonny and the new Thunderbird then the Bonny would sell for 350,000 as its a 890cc .instead of 550,000+
But the problem is Britbikes not the factory they dont want the hassle of selling 500 bikes a year when they can make loads on selling only 50 and keep the brand EXCLUSIVE( I hate that word).

also the factory has not pressured Britbikes to sell more in Thailand as the factory is selling all production to export anyway . the models assembled in Uk would not benefit from reduced duty .

When triumph have excess capacity , expect a better deal in Thailand
