Team having a light lunch then ready to depart.
    It's almost after lunchtime...
Leaving Dalat, we back to Prenn mountain pass and Lien Khuong Highway...

It's me, with my VFR800, photo taken at one end of the highway by Hung-Singaporeman

On highway, most of us try to warm up the bikes after a long resting time beside beautiful lake...

    Starting....

    Increasing:

    A little more:

    Others passed me quickly...

    Felt the speed...

Oh, they were too far... let me put back the camera and concentrate to ride huh...!!

My VFR is speed limited one, I could not come over 187km/h... haizzz... need some more modification to satisfy the needs for speed....

    (to be continued...)

I agree with SilverhawkUSA on the fantastic selection of bikes. Very envious indeed. Do you import them individually yourselves? I used to go to Vietnam, HCMC mostly, every month or so for work for the past twelve or so years and never saw anything like you are showing on this thread. Keep it coming, its great to see.

We also have various way to import bikes into Vietnam now. By individually or thru some agencies or buying from some bike shops here.
If coming to Hochiminh City or Hanoi, you still not easy to see the big bikes riding on streets. The city traffic here is not suitable for big bike anyway...
We normally ride such bikes during weekend and mostly outside of Cities...
In Vietnam now having most of the most updated or expensive bikes imported in. I may collect some information of some special bikes available in Vietnam and post in another thread for your info.
Thank you all for riding along my trip...

That's a great idea VietHorse as I am sure many folk would be interested to see whats available/possible in Vietnam.
Admin, can we start a section "Big Bikes Vietnam" or something like that for VietHorse and his mates to put up some info?

    Viethorse,
The bikes, Da Lat & Blue all looking good; keep it coming.
Looking at Da Lat as a base from which to explore Vietnam; your input on bikes would be most useful.
    Cheers

After the Highway, we heading to Gia Bac mountain pass.
This Gia Bac pass is the old trail (national road No.2 connecting Di Linh highland with Phan Thiet, the seaside city.
Total length of the connection was known as 97km.
Total of twisty mountain pass most likely about 50-70km.
It is always fun and exciting when riding here.
I have experienced both riding and driving thru this pass, but the feeling of riding with several bends is much much more excited.

Reach Gia Bac pass, I was not so confident on my new hand gloves (they r new, and quite hard) then I didn't dare to take foto...

There are some photos taken from previous riding trip, while still using the old hand gloves, just bring here to share some feeling...

That time, I was using Honda Hornet 919, with the same camera...

    Almost touch the road surface...

Really excited with the mountain view...

    Wow...

This is near the top of mountain...

Here we met some houses of the remote races...

    So beautiful...

I had a photo here, right?!

    I am here, hehe:

    Going downward...

We were very excited when getting to the end of the pass... take a rest and record with some photos:

    Helped the forest....

    One of my previous bikes:

    I was there..

The team... Just one of them were not in this trip, he was in US that time..

    BuiDucHung and Khoa

    Hanh:

Those are photos I took from the previous trip, not this time.

Thanks for sharing your adventures with us VietHorse; always good to read
    reports from 'locals'.
I imagine the various restaurants you stop at are extremely happy to see such
a large group of customers arrive at their door !
Well done guys and, of course, Miss Blue Serenade.

A truly happy rider is one who can enjoy the scenery along a detour.

    Cont'd....

This time, passing the Gia Bac pass, I just got the below photos, hic, due to the gloves issue... hic...

You can see the upper road, with the hard stoppers... just behind be, it was a very short and immediate bend.

My bike, she was so cool on the twisty road...

    Hayza....

We stopped for a while, took photos and chit chat a bit... the next group still far... We kept continue riding...

Now we can easily feel the dry season is here. Plants had changed their color.... not green any more...

All the bends now became simple and boring...

    See the color:

The forest is now afraid of any naked fire...

We stopped at a street inn, drank sugar cane water, and wait for the following groups. It was about 10km to the sea.

After some mins, all team gathered, all safe, all took drinks, and continued moving to Mui Ne.

    Arriving at Mui Ne:
