Jusd to let you know that forget about Sadao border.
I just came back from Malaysia and on the way down the Satun border is amazing scenery and very good road.
on the way up back in Thailand I passed the border at Betong and another beautiful place to ride nice long curves acroos the mountain, lakes etc.. in Malay and Thai side.
Only one point careful at the army check pointS as they are generally after a curve so drive smoothly.
