UK Photos From The Last 2.5 Months Rides

These are a collection of pictures taken out riding during the last 2.5 months since I returned to the UK and in no particular order

A mixture of wet and dry but a fun day out none the less

What a road kill this was, fortunately it wasnt my Harley that hit it

This gentleman wanted it for food and bait so I helped him load it in his car

Was it heavy or what? plus smelly, I didnt think it would fit in the boot but luckily it did

    Off they went to Bournemouth

This Indian built Honda CBF125 was added to my UK line up four weeks ago to replace the SH300i scooter that was written off so a pleasant meander around some country lanes was undertaken one sunday

Riding a small bike slower around narrow lanes is sometimes lots of fun as you see a lot more

Quite a few people out fishing around here

Through the lovely Wiltshire countryside on the Harley and lots of rape fields in these parts

I have rode past these picturesque houses lots of times before but never bothered stopping to photograph them, they are about 50 km from my house and along a road I ride about once a fortnight so I guess I just took them for granted

Even the bus shelter gets the same treatment

This Harley goes out in the rain as you can see from this picture, bikes are for riding not mollycoddling, what I didnt appreciate at the time was that this would be my last ride on it for possibly a couple of months as I am currently laid up with a multiple fractured ankle and in plaster

Thanks for the good luck wishes both Davids, yes this was not a motorcycling accident I am pleased to say but a building site one, I would be totally pissed off if I had smashed my beloved Sportster up

She was pushed out from my garage today by a mate who kindly took her for a spin up the road for me

This is the best I will be doing for a while

If only it had been the other leg I would soon be mobile again

Wishing you a speedy recovery Colin. Your photos of the mother England look pretty snappy but still wouldn't entice me back.

Nice country side pictures Colin; one day you'll have to explain what the heck those fisherman are doing.

    Heal fast!
There’s a few really, really great places to be in the world. One is on a nice day, one hour away from your house, on your way to somewhere else. That is one of the best feelings that there is. Open road and all you got is adventure in front of you
