Hi, we are planning to ride in Loas again in 2 weeks time from Chiang Khong till Viantine & exit at Nong Khai before return back to Malaysia. Just wondering if the road construction between Hoey Xai to Namtha to Oudom Xai to Pak Mong are already completed or not?
Have seen in Jurgen trip reports recently that the road condition are still under construction...

Most of the roads have had the top surface removed leaving loose gravel and rocks and dirt. There are some intermittent roadworks also. Expect potholes all the way through on highway 13.
