    Kawasaki Versys 2012 - Exhaust

Hi Gus, does anybody know of the exhaust system of the Versys 2012 is the same as the 2011 system ? I got a new versys and thinking of putting the "twin bros" exhaust end. Any idea if Kawasaki can fit the new exhaust or shall I go to a biker shop... Any ideas of a good biker shop in CM ? Maybe Mr Mechanic ?

I would get it done at Kawa, its easy enough to fit. Mr Mechanic is a bike rental shop, not a work shop. I have no idea if the 2012 varies from thee 2011 version but doubt it.

    Thanks Ron,
Would you suggest kawasaki BKK or CM ? In fact the bike is at BKK now, but I am planning to send it to CM as we will be going touring late January..

For sure kawasaki can fit it . You may want to consider another brand though... 2 bros mufflers are extremely loud .

So either Kawasaki BKK or CM would be ok... Thanks ..
I chose the 2 Bros on the basis of performance and weight... it saves a good 9lb on the bike... I agree that it is loud.. but I guess I am wearing termignioni's now and the only other ones I know are the Yoshimura's... What would you suggest ?

I put on a Leo Vince on my Versys as its less conspicuous (dont like the pipes that stick out from the side) and its not so loud. CNX supplied and fitted it.
schackster is a specialist in aftermarket pipes and if he says its loud, I can assure you that it will be loud loud loud.

Yep, the TWO BROS is certainly not street legal and it says right on the box "FOR RACE USE ONLY", but if you don't mind being hooligan-loud, it's a great pipe and one of the lightest ones out there.

Here's a little sound clip from the TWO BROS on my old ER6n-

2012 Versys exhaust is unchanged from 2011 so the TWO BROS will fit just fine. Same fitment for 2009-2011 ER6n and Ninja 650R.

The TWO BROS is tucked up safely under the bike and doesn't stick out like a Yoshi or V&H.

Ah- just found a clip of a TWO BROS on a Versys for ya-
