I'm planning on doing the Chiang Rai loop in a couple weeks and wanted to rent a cruiser like a Phantom or similar to do it. However I've checked with ST Motors and they only have dirt bikes. I'm more comfortable with a lower center of gravity for long rides. Does anyone know if any shops in Chiang Rai have them? I'd even go for a street bike like CBR.
Also, if someone wants to do the ride with me, I'm open to that too.
I don't know of any street bike shops in Chiang Rai (but I'm no expert). You are probably better off starting in Chiang Mai and the rental shop options are covered on the GT-Rider home page. Good Luck!
Yeah I was hoping not to do that since I'll be in Chiang Rai for five days beforehand but won't really be needing a bike. Probably will do some trekking in that period. Oh well i guess I'll just have to bite the bullet.
