Good swedish Restaurant in the Lampang Elephants Hospital area

On the way back from the visarun by car, weve took the beautiful steep and narrow road along the railway through the Doi Khun Tan Nationalpark. Starts behind the Lampang Elephant Hospital and goes to Mae On / Chiang-Mai. The last time Ive ridden this track by motorbike was in april 2009.
And big surprise.....1min. after I said, Im a little bit hungry, we found this nice, clean new restaurant in Ban Mae Tha-Noi. The swedish owner Pah (like the Thaiword for rafts) and his Thaiwife Nut have an excelant menu with steaks, frenchfries, burgers and off course delicous Thaifood.

Been back only a handful of times to Viktoria restaurant, I consider it the best priced quality farang food around. With the added bonus that the Khun Tan loop is a nice half day ride.

Maybe a return visit is due - haven't tried their Thai food as of yet!
Theres a few really, really great places to be in the world. One is on a nice day, one hour away from your house, on your way to somewhere else. That is one of the best feelings that there is. Open road and all you got is adventure in front of you
