Cool 270 mile day trip loop

After having some thunderstorms the last couple of days, I guessed it would be nice to get out and about in the freshly cleared air.
Headed down on back roads to Mae Chan, then the 1089 and 107 through Thaton, Mae Ai, Fang and Chai Prakarn, then took the left turn to the south on 1346 through the Sri Lanna National Park to Phrao. Then the lovely 1150 east out to Wiang Pa Pao. Lovely scenery and most enjoyable. Came back up the main road 118 with a coffee stop at Charin.

Ian that's quite a loop for a day ride in the North. Well done. It's good to see you out & about enjoying the good life here - motorcycle riding & taking photos. With just a bit of rain the country side is looking good alright.

Cheers Guys. Only one small area of burning noted during the trip. So, the haze has mostly cleared now and time to get out and about some more in the beautiful countryside. The Thunderbird is a dream to ride, now I've replaced the swing arm bushes and fitted a new pair of Hagon classic gas filled shocks.

    Thunderbirds are GO!
It certainly sounded well when you came past 'our' coffee shop on Sunday.
