Try the night market.
Unlike BKK there are same straight dealers here selling reasonable quality for 70-80 bht, who will tell you if the dvd is a dudd or not.
Re N America I cannot say - tho most players are unlockable thru a code, making them multi-region.

| Bought about 30 DVD's in Krabi when I was there in March this year, all but one worked in my player in the USA. Very good quality, I thought, for the money. One hundred baht each. |
