You are much more likely to find a SR 400, as that is what was sold in Japan. I've seen them in the shops in Bangkok.
Here is a pic of my first bike (SR 500) bought new in 1978. This is after many mods. Great fun in through the really tight twisties.

I suggest you contact some of the shops listed here... http://www.geocities.com/bkkriders/shops/
It has been quite a while since I have been in them,so I have no idea what their current stock consists of. When I bought my last bike, I spent a week in Bangkok pounding the pavement to see what was available. I also left my number at most places, letting them know what I was looking for. Good luck! |
