Went to the crocodile farm after the si khou bike meet yest

Went to the crocodile farm in Korat after the si khuo bike meet yesterday. This is the 3rd biggest croc farm in Thailand.

We're told there's 30,000 crocodiles ( seems high, but thats what we were told) here on 1,000 rai. They spend 30,000 baht a day on chickens for food, mostly heads as the heads are cheaper by weight.

Biggest ones we saw there were about 4 metres & there were 100's that length.

All the things you can see in the water are croc heads.

Apparently there is a slump in the croc market, crocs they used to sell for 4,000 bht, now only sell for 500 bht.

This is kinda why i posted this

They told me the big market is shipping them to Europe (France) for bags and belts.

He showed us one in a cold room next to his house that had been skinned and packed in salt. The skin was worth 70,000 baht.

The lesser quality ones are used for meat.
