A man of passion - bikes, riding, cooking & socialising with his mates, he enjoyed his life to the full.
He was a man in love with his world in Tha Ton & had found his final dream destination.

Unfortunately late yesterday - 9 PM - he dropped his bike going home north of Tha Ton & crashed on a bridge just near his house.
Steve was taken to the Mae Ai hospital & then transferred to Nakhon Ping during the night.
Sadly this morning he succumbed to the multiple internal injuries he suffered in the spill.

May you Rest In Peace Steve.

Nice to meet guys I've never met, wish it had been for happier reasons. As his near neighbor I'll miss the visits for coffee and most of all his cooking. For all his rough exterior the man was an excellent cook. RIP Stephen.

It was a solemn moving event.
The number of villagers present was impressive & indicative of the respect Steve had.
The expat bikers who turned up at short notice was also impressive & most appreciated by Steve's partner Lah & the villagers. We expat bikers were treated with the most respect & even the ceremony was held up for some late riders to arrive & join in for a group photo. Thank you very much to the Shan people of Mai Mok Cham; you were extremely kind & compassionate.

Thanks to Steve's good mate Jeff for his assistance & hosting us at Jack's Coffee in Tha Ton after the event.
