Seeing that rainy season is here I know that when I'm on the road now I like to look out for covered parking for my bike when staying somewhere overnight.
So why not have a thread for under cover parking when touring...

GT Rider has accommodation recommendations listed in each region under trip reports

North Thailand
Accommodation - North Thailand

Esarn North-East Thailand
Accommodation - Esarn North-East Thailand

Phuket- South Thailand
Accommodation - Phuket / South Thailand

Eastern Thailand
Accommodation - Eastern Thailand

Central & Western Thailand
Accommodation - Central Thailand

Laos
Accommodation - Laos

Vietnam
Accommodation - Vietnam

Cambodia
Accommodation - Cambodia

but not all of these tips mention whether the accommodation has under cover parking.
In the hot season the covered parking may not be so important, but certainly in the wet it is better to park your bike under cover.

A start

CHIANG MAI: Lux Hotel, a no brainer - the best value for money in Chiang Mai.
FANG: Preeya Mansion
MAE SARIENG: Riverbank Hotel
NAN: Dheveraj Hotel
PHAYAO: Phu Thong Place
CHIANG RAI: Sabai Inn

VIENTIANE: Ekalath Hotel

Please add on your favourites / suggestions.

In NAN ,at Nan guest house,to the right of the garden, there is a shelter behind the kitchen
where they park their own 2 wheels.

Lazy as I am, I went for this solution.

Indoor%20parking.jpg

Toss out one of the bikes, and I can sleep there too.

Mulligan's Irish Bar Sukhumvit Soi 11 Bangkok.

It is part of the Citidines hotel and has a 24 hr liquor licence.

You can park the bikes down below in secure parking. Even if only drinking at the bar with the Bangkok Weekend Warriors.

More than a few times the guys have had too many beers and left the bike and picked it up the next day.

Cheers
Brian

A cautionary word of advice when parking in basement areas during the wet season. I know this concerns a pick-up and my friend left his truck parked in underground parking in a hotel in Pattaya whilst he was in Norway for two weeks, BUT on his return all he could see was the roof rails. A motorbike would have been totally submerged.....funny though

Chiang Mai-The Royal Panerai hotel.
Has undercover underground parking, plus an excellent ground floor under cover parking 20 metres from the reception desk.
