Hi all, I recently retired to Thailand after many years in Japan. I originally bought a little Wave 125 only intending to run around town, do the shopping etc. Now I've fallen in love with riding the country roads and want something bigger and more comfortable. I'm hoping to get a Kawasaki W800 within a year. I'd love to hear from anybody in my area.

And, don't forget the inaugural Chiang Khong Music Fest on 21 December with the top jazz & blues bands playing right beside the Mekong.

Hi David,

Thanks for the info. I was just up in Chiang Khong last month. The next time I come up I'll be in touch. It might just be for the music festival.

Hi, Tom.
Welcome - GT-R is a good source of information and contacts.

I was in Phayao a couple of weeks ago - It is a nice town, and can put on an excellent sunset with the lake setting.

G’day Tom,

Where do you stay in Phayao? I spend a fair bit of time there. Did you get a bike?

Dave.
