Vientianne to Vang Vieng
Actually I wanted to leave Chiang Mai with my AT, but as I was short in time, I decided driving up to Udon Thani by truck go on the bus and then rent a XR in Vientianne. I’ve spend a little more time looking around the sites of Vientianne and Vang Vieng, so that’s all you get this time. Nothing much exciting but I could take some nice shots, that I wanted to share anyway.
So I rented a XR 250 with Phuarks on T2 Road as so many time before and I got a good bike. The weather wasn’t to good and shortly after Vientianne I had to pull over and take break because of the heavy rain falls. Then I continued thru Hin Hoeb and arrived in Vang Vieng 2 hours later. I wasn’t under pressure this time and was really driving slow, believe it or not!
In Vang Vieng I decided to stay at the brand new Thivasouk Hotel/Resort. Really nice place to stay and I gotta good price for the room, because they just opened. The next I started exploring some caves and doing some offroad riding for a couple of hours.
Vang Vieng has a lot of that to offer. I stayed in VV for another 2 days before I was hitting back to Vientianne to get my passport and fresh stamped visa for Thailand.
So nothing too exciting, but I hope you enjoy anyway.
