Hi All
All the blogs I read say basecamp/Linux are not compatible.

Some suggest GPS tracks through wine.....whatever that means??

Could any body assist me by installing whatever needs installing to connect my Montana to my laptop?

I can meet you somewhere (I am chiang mai based) or maybe somebody can direct me to somewhere/someone can help?

Thanks for reading

If you only run Linux it will be hard to run Garmin Basecamp, if possible at all. Garmin has hardly updated the software since the days of Mapsource.
One easy way of doing it. Make a bootable SD card/stick and use a boot loader/etcher to run Mac or Windows on your Linux computer.
(You will be surprised how well Windows runs on a Linux shell.)

Good luck.
