Well I once had an Yamaha XT250x which is about a Serow (a kind of mountain goat) and I think it are good bikes for off roading. A bit less for on-road riding due to low on power. Is (or was) very popular in Japan. As far as I know officially never sold in Thailand so all sold here are grey-imported or spare-part-imported.

I've heard only good things about the little goat, Yamaha's 225cc counterpart of Honda's 230 enduro.

Sorry can't help you with locating one, they haven't been built for some time, so not many around anymore.

I saw a plated Serow for sale at Porn Superbike about a week ago.

Nice looking bike. I didn't ask the price.

Porn Superbike used to be next to Seacon Square and has now relocated just a couple doors down from the ShowPow Pirelli shop on Onnut Road.

Happy Trails!

They did bring out a 250cc model which was a limited edition. There are always some Serows for sale on mocyc.com but very few with green books

My friend rented a Serow for 3 weeks from Flamingo in Hanoi. He liked the bike for off-road but as mentioned above it was quite underpowered out on the road. I was on a YBR125 and could run away from him at will.
