I stopped by yesterday for some work done but was more impressed by the Kawasaki graveyard in back of the show room.

What is everyone doing?

I expected to see POPS written on the front of these bikes, but not so! Anyone wanna tell their story?

Looking at those pictures the 1st thing i would do with the Er6's would be to change out the handlebars to Alloy one's.
Because even though the forks are bent or broken the handle bars aren't bent.
So the wrists and arms of the rider must have taken a right pounding.
When i had my accident the alloy bars bent, meaning i only had severe strained wrists, luckily nothing broken.
Allan

MMM some one said some where that you could put an Er6 engine into a d-tracker. That might be fun.

Some pics from the grand opening:

My girlfriend and I arrived at a little after 1800. They had a band playing that was really good actually. The girl had a beautiful voice.

I always enjoy looking at everyone's bikes parked out front. Pretty much all KLX, D-Trackers, KSR and ER6.

The GIVI boxes specifically for ER6. They're HUGE!

My other girlfriend.

Cutting the ribbon.
GO-19.jpg

After they cut the ribbon they had a little show with some smoke and the girls showing the bikes. There were two new bike models under covers they were saving for the end. What could they be?
GO-20.jpg

GO-21.jpg

When they pulled the covers off all they had was a new KLX140L and a new D-Tracker or something, nothing to get excited about. Oh well, maybe next year.
GO-22.jpg

Hard to get excited about that bike.

No pics of the new showroom because David pretty well covered it in the first post.

Nice post Liam. Good to catch with you again, and meet your delightful girl friend.

Yes, it was a pretty good party. And it was good to see many GT-riders I know there, and to meet some Ive never meet before.

Bikes weren't the only things green there. Check out Genuine Kawasaki fruit punch.

Every picture tells a story, parts that have fallen off my D-Tracker amd have been taken off the second one pictured there in line. Different times too boot and it's still there.

Black and white looks darn pretty nice, but I couldn't afford those models.....
