Bangkok motorbike markets/shops locations

Hi All,
I'm considering a side trip tp Bangkok for a couple of days to look at bikes and get a feel for the market. Is there an area as such or are they spread around greater Bangkok? Bearing that in mind, which airport would be best suited and any recommendations on areas to stay.

From what I remember they are spread out around greater Bangkok.
Swampy or Don Meuang are good, although Swampy is easier to get into the city from in my opinion
When we visit BKK we generally use The Citadines Hotel on Soi 16 Sukhumvit, which we have found to be competitively priced and clean. I use booking.com.
It is also about a 10 min walk from Asok, both for the underground and sky train for getting about.
